President Obama says Elena Kagan is his choice for the next justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. The current Solicitor General would make history by giving the High Court three women Justices.
Lady On The Left
Barack has chosen Elena
To help guide a fractured High Court,
As he sends the name of his preference
To the Hill for Senate support.
Though Republicans may prove contentious,
They're outnumbered by the Democrat vote;
Which makes Kagan's chances of failing
Quite a bit less than remote.
The left-leaning Solicitor General
Would make some historical noise.
The Court would then have three women
Mixing it up with the five good old boys.
