BP continues its efforts to stop the flow of oil spilling into the Gulf of Mexico. Officials say it may be the weekend before they know if those efforts succeed.
Plugging Along
BP seeks
To plug the leaks
That have been fouling the Gulf
For the past five weeks.
High seas roil
And workmen toil
Seeking a method to end
The swift flow of oil.
For how long
No one can say
But hope they can do it by
Memorial Day.
