Producers of “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” reopened on Broadway despite injuries to the lead actor’s stunt double. State safety officials say they’re keeping close watch on the production to be sure it’s safe.

As cast and crew tried to embark
On Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark,
Spidey’s double took a fall
Moments away from curtain call.
Favorite actors and some unknowns
Flirt, each night, with broken bones.
But, hey, relax, they’re all quite skilled.
It won’t stop till someone’s killed.
