Poll Sends Mixed Message

Despite a 52 percent approval rating in the latest poll, President Obama still faces some challenges for re-election. His numbers are still 10 points lower than when he took office.



                Numbers Up

Mr. Obama seems much improved,
Or so says the most recent poll;
Some might be tempted to say
The president’s now on a roll.

But in his fight to be voted back in,
It’s a little too early to crow;
Since the economy’s still in the doldrums,
And there’s still a long way to go.
